Linda Lewis, 66, of Ellabell was identified as the driver killed Thursday night in a car crash in Effingham County.

According to the Effingham County Sheriff's Office, Lewis was traveling west on Blue Jay Road around 9 p.m. when her Kia sedan crossed into the path of a pickup traveling north on Hwy. 17.

The truck T-boned Lewis' car, and she was pronounced dead on the scene.

No other serious injuries were reported, and no charges have been filed.
