Blotters published in the Aug.  10 Bryan County News included this theft by taking report from the Bryan County Sheriff's Department:

Aug. 2 – Officers responded around 8:30 a.m. to Harris Trail Road in reference to a theft. The complainant, who works with AT&T, stated that someone entered the fenced-in cell tower and cut and stole four copper ground wires to the equipment platform, copper bust bars, leads to the bust bars and copper wiring to the antennae. The fencing was not damaged, though there was an area to the left of the front gate where a small-framed person could have entered.
