Military authorities are investigating the death of a man at Holbrook Pond on Fort Stewart.

The man's body was found Saturday at the campsite, which is used by military personnel and retirees. The site is roughly five miles from the main post area and sits off of Highway 144 about 10 miles from Richmond Hill.

Fort Stewart Public Affairs Officer Kevin Larson was unable to provide any additional details but will release more information as it becomes available.
