The Coastal Georgia Regional Development Center (RDC) and the City of Pembroke Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee met last week to review a recent public workshop and a draft vision statement.

The advisory committee also discussed developing policies and action plans to address population growth, economic development, housing, natural and cultural resources, community facilities and services, inter-government coordination and transportation.

"We have received a lot of good input and feedback from members of our community," said committee member and Councilwoman Angela Reed. "I’m excited about the end plan we are working towards. I would also like to encourage the public to stay involved. This plan effects how we will run the city for the next 10 years."

The committee will hold another public workshop on Thursday, April 30 at 6:30 p.m. For more information call Tricia Reynolds at 264-7363
