Bryan County officials are looking toward a few projects in South Bryan in 2011, including extending Harris Trail Road and completing a water/sewer project in South Bryan, as well as building a walking trail around Hendrix Park in North Bryan.
Bryan County Commission Chairman Jimmy Burnsed said he hopes the county will soon start paving the extension of Harris Trail Road out to Belfast Keller Road. That project is crucial, he said, because the extension will serve as a bypass for motorists when Hwy. 144 is eventually widened in the coming years.
