Businesses in downtown Pembroke are reaching out to the community with a “popin” parade to highlight the local storefronts and show what downtown Pembroke has to offer.

The Pembroke Parade of Businesses is set for 2-3 p.m. Friday in downtown Pembroke. Participating businesses will be offering treats and information to anyone who “pops in,” including a prize raffle offered by The Eye Clinic, which is organizing the event.

Other participating businesses and organizations include Bedingfield Pharmacy, That’s So Amazing Boutique, PAC Fiber Optic, Express Package, Pembroke Public Library, United Way of the Coastal Empire, Pembroke Downtown Authority, Mears Tech and many more.
