The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said it continues to look into the death of Pembroke man James L. Young, but neither the GBI nor Pembroke police are saying much else.

Young was found dead on Nov. 10 in his home at 166 Rogers Road after a call was made to Pembroke Police requesting a welfare check at the residence.

The GBI is investigating the death as a homicide, but hasn’t said why.

Chuck Sullenger, GBI Special Agent in charge said last week the Bureau was making progress with the investigation but did not provide details - saying it could jeopordize the case.

Attempts to reach Sullenger since have been unsuccessful. Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call the GBI at 871-1121 or Pembroke police at 653-4414.
