News you can use regarding the Richmond Hill Library
books

Huge bins overflowing with insulation and debris fill the parking spaces.

Gone are the book drop boxes. The lights are out, and the sign hangs on broken hinges. What’s up at the Richmond Hill Library?

After many years of planning and negotiation, a major renovation and expansion is in progress.

The “new” library will help fulfill the need for not only more book space but more non-book activities, programs, and technology that a modern library provides.

The good news is Richmond Hill’s Library is still functioning though in a somewhat limited capacity. Thanks to the civic-minded spirit and goodwill of the Richmond Hill Lion’s Club library space has been provided. During the construction phase the library can be found at 55 Bass Drive off Edsel Drive.

There you will find the library staff eager to help you find new books, pick up holds from other Pines state libraries, join in for planned events, etc. Come and browse! We are eager to see you!
