Tax Commissioner Debbie Newman has announced her intent to continue in her position.

"This will be my fourth term and I’ve been blessed – so far I haven’t ever had anyone run against me," she said.

Newman runs the tax commission offices in Pembroke and Richmond Hill. She currently is in charge of eight county employees.

"I would love to continue to serve the citizens of Bryan County to the best of my ability," she said. "I will continue to try and provide professional service to our taxpayers in a friendly and helpful manner."
