A new signal light is scheduled to be activated Dec. 1 on Highway 280 at Oracal Parkway/Interstate Centre Boulevard north of the I-16 interchange (Exit 143) near Black Creek.

Message boards will be in place to alert motorists of this new traffic signal location and exact activation date. Th exact time may change due to weather conditions.

Motorists are reminded to pay special attention to traffic control devices, signs and posted speed limits as drivers become acclimated to the new signal.
 

Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, stay alert, and watch for workers.
