NAACP Freedom Fund Gala planned for Dec. 6

Bryan County NAACP announced that its Freedom Fund Gala, with the theme "Still Standing" will be held Friday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. at the J. Dixie Harn Community Center (91 Lanier Center) in Pembroke.

Michael Thurmond, CEO of DeKalb County is the guest speaker.

Tickets are $70 per person or a table of 8 for $560 and are available for purchase on Eventbrite.

The attire is formal/semi formal.

SAVANNAH – Mayor Tiffany Zeigler of the city of Pembroke has been recognized by the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) and the Harold F. Holtz Municipal Training Institute as an inaugural member of the Harold F. Holtz Municipal Training Institute’s 400 Club during GMA’s Annual Convention held in Savannah on June 23.
