Multiple injuries reported in crash near Black Creek

A serious two-vehicle accident occurred Thursday afternoon on Highway 280 near Wilma Edwards Road in the Black Creek area, according to Bryan County Emergency Services.

BCES said the accident involved drivers or passengers trapped in their vehicles, and multiple injuries. At least one person was airlifted to a hospital. 

The Georgia State Patrol has taken over the investigation but has not released information as to the condition of the victims.

GeorgiaForward has announced that the 2025 Youth Placemaking Grant has been presented to the City of Pembroke Mayor’s Youth Council. The $500 grant, awarded to the city, will support a youth-led public placemaking project designed to foster creativity, community connection, and civic pride among young residents.
