More than a dozen companies await job seekers at Thursday event

The Georgia Department of Labor is partnering with the Bryan County Development Authority and the North Bryan County Chamber of Commerce for an upcoming job fair.

 The event will be held on Thursday, July 18 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Bryan County High School gym, 1234 Camelia Dr., Pembroke.

Representatives from the GADOL and WorkSource Coastal will be on site to assist job-seekers with updating their resumes beginning at 4:30 p.m.

“At the end of the day this is what development authority and chambers of commerce should be doing,” said Pembroke City Administrator Alex Floyd. “Engaging with the local population to help them find a job, create wealth, and invest in their futures. We are looking forward to working with our partners to make this event happen.”

Job seekers are encouraged to wear professional and neat attire and to bring copies of their resumes. Representatives from the Georgia Department of Labor and WorkSource Coastal will be on site to assist job seekers with updating their resumes and will have computers and printers available for use free of charge.
