CivilianJobs.com is holding a job fair on Fort Stewart from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Club Stewart. The event is sponsored by the Fort Stewart Soldier for Life: Transition Assistance Program and is open to transitioning military, veterans and military family members.

A mix of Fortune 500 and local military-friendly companies will be present, including Elanco, Target, Saladmaster, Southeast Georgia Health System, Wal-Mart, Toyota Forklifts of Atlanta, Vinnell Arabia and Lilly.

“We recognize the strengths that veterans bring to our company — characteristics such as leadership, discipline, adaptability to change and a mission-driven focus. These are attributes that make a difference in the military, and they are essential to our company as well,” said John C. Lechleiter, Ph.D., the chairman, president and CEO of Lilly.

Job seekers may register at the door, although military and prior military are encouraged to take advantage of CivilianJobs.com’s BestFit Profile pre-matching process. This process ensures a company’s representatives will meet the attendees whose backgrounds offer the best fit for their positions. Attendees may pre-register at this link: CivilianJobs.com Job Fairs.
