Col. Robin Adams-Massenburg, deputy commander for nursing, said the Baby Expo at Winn Army Community Hospital Saturday provided a number of education classes, tours of the renovated labor and delivery and mother-baby unit, and allowed attendees to meet with medical providers.

As many as 1,000 attendees were expected. Hospital commander Col. Patrick Ahearne said it’s important to support military spouses when they have children because most of them are not near their families, who normally would have provided these types of resources and support.
