The Bryan County Chamber of Commerce has announced the appointment of Michele Knight as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Knight brings extensive leadership experience spanning nonprofit management, hospitality, marketing, and business development. Throughout her career, she has built and led high-performing teams, strengthened organizational sustainability, and aligned diverse stakeholders around shared priorities that drive measurable results.
“Michele’s leadership style and vision align perfectly with where Bryan County is today — growing, evolving, and full of opportunity,” said Matt Hodges, Chair of the Bryan County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Known for her relationship-centered leadership approach, Knight is widely recognized as a “player-coach” who excels at building trust, fostering collaboration, and translating strategic vision into action. Her background includes successfully expanding engagement, cultivating partnerships, and advancing mission-driven initiatives that strengthen communities and support long-term economic vitality.
Knight’s experience working across sectors positions her to further elevate the Chamber’s role as a connector and advocate for Bryan County businesses. She has a proven track record of aligning boards, elected officials, investors, and community leaders to advance shared goals while creating sustainable pathways for growth.
