Meet Kim Dyches, Bryan County High School senior, avid reader, math lover and future teacher.
Where are you originally from and how long have you lived in Bryan County?
I am originally from here although I have moved a lot. I have lived here a total of seven years.
What year are you in school?
Senior.
What do you like about Bryan County High School?
I like the closeness of all of the students and the relaxed atmosphere with most students.
What is your favorite subject or subjects?
Forensic Science, geometry (any math), and anything agriculturally inclined.
What particularly do you like about school?
I enjoy school. I especially like knowing that there are teachers willing to help.
Are you involved in extracurricular activities, and if so what are they and how long have you participated?
I am in FFA and have been for three years.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I read books and on-line forums involving happenings in our world.
What do you plan to do or be when you graduate from high school?
I want to go to college and become an early education math teacher.
What do you like about living in North Bryan County?
I like the small town with not too many people
If you could change one thing about North Bryan County, what would it be and why?
I would like a new, state-of- the-art high school or update it.
What is your favorite book; what particularly do you like about it?
I love the Harry Potter series. I love the magical, mystical fantasy in it.
What kind of music do you like?
Classical/piano type stuff, country music, some rock and classical rock.
Where is your favorite place to visit?
The Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. It’s very interesting and a fun place.
