Major wreck on I-95 in Glynn County

Travel on I-95 South may get congested, according to a press release from the Georgia DOT.

Here's the release:

"There is an ongoing major accident on I-95 NB/SB at MP 33.5. This is about 3 miles south of Exit 36 (SR 27/US 341) in Glynn County. All lanes are blocked in both directions. A construction vehicle hit power lines in the area. The Fire Department is on-scene.  The estimated time of clearance is unknown. Check www.georgia-navigator.com for updates."

Residents voice concerns at inaugural Airport Authority meeting

Newly-appointed Richmond Hill-Bryan County Airport Authority Chairman Trip Addison kicked off the board’s first-ever meeting by telling those who attended he was “dedicated to engaging every voice in this process,” as the board moves forward on a potential general aviation airport on Rayonier-owned property off Highway 17 near Belfast Keller Road.
