Veterans Day will be observed in Bryan County with two ceremonies next week.

The Bryan County Middle and High School program will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, in the high-school gym in Pembroke. The program will featurepresentations from student speakers, the Bryan County Middle and High School Chorus groups and the Bryan County High School Middle and High School Marching Band.

Attendees may begin arriving at 8:30 a.m. and can park in various lots on campus. Those needing parking accommodations may park in the bus-traffic circle.

On Wednesday, Nov. 11, the city of Richmond Hill will have a program at 11 a.m. in J.F. Gregory Park. Guest speakers, the Fort Stewart color guard, a 21-gun salute and a laying of the wreath are on the schedule.

Both programs are free and open to the public.
