Used book sale is March 10
book sale

The Friends of the Richmond Hill Library will hold a used book sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 10.

All types of gently used books will be for sale at bargain prices. Although many are priced lower, most hardbacks are $1, and most paperbacks are 50 cents.

Books will be arranged by category to help customers find what they are looking for. These include hardback, classic, and trade paperback fiction, with Christian fiction separated; art, architecture, photography, and film; travel; humor; parenting and relationships; religious and inspirational; history; biography and memoir; nature, science, and math; animals; business, finance, technology and How-To; cookbooks; crafts, decorating, and building; gardening; military and war, both fiction and nonfiction; African American interest; health, diet, and fitness; science fiction; mystery, spy, adventure paperbacks; politics; romance; children’s and teaching materials; music; vintage books; westerns; and sports, games, and puzzles. Those looking for special genres can ask volunteers where those books are located.

FOL is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the library in South Bryan County. Proceeds from the sale further that goal. The library has moved up to ninth on the list of capital outlay projects for libraries statewide, and money raised through the book sales will go toward helping refurbish and expand the building.

Credit cards and cash will be accepted. As always, FOL appreciates donations of gently used books. These can be brought to the library during operating hours. Tax deduction forms are available upon request.
