Sandra Workman, also of Richmond Hill, will face incumbent Republican Ben Watson in November for Georgia’s First District in the State Senate.

Alicia Scott, a Democrat from Savannah, filed to challenge incumbent Ron Stephens in House District 164.

In House District 160, incumbent Jan Tankersly faces a primary challenge from fellow Republican Robert Busbee.
