The Rotary Club of Richmond Hill presented a check for $1,000 to the local YMCA during its regular meeting last week at Richmond Hill City Center.
“The work of Rotary begins in the community,” said new Rotary President Chris Fettes. “Our club looks for opportunities to support local organizations that provide unique maternal and child health services. The YMCA provides a healthy environment for the development of our children.”
Mary Arocha, executive director of the YMCA, said the direct financial assistance from organizations like Rotary is making such a difference in the lives of many who need assistance in our community.
