Richmond Hill to provide large trash pickup as part of Ga. Cities Week

Richmond Hill will celebrate Georgia Cities Week from April 22-28. Free curbside pickup of large items will take place throughout Richmond Hill from April 16-18.
A schedule and other information follows:
• Monday, April 16: Large item trash pickup in Mulberry, Richmond Place, Blueberry, Camellia Street and area, Rosemont Street and area, Carter Street and area, Buford Cook Drive, Rushing Street, Forest Street, Brown Street, Clark Street, Richmond Heights, Parkside and the Bottom.
• Tuesday, April 17: Large item trash pickup in White Oak, Live Oak Drive, Ponderosa Street and area, Piercefield Forest, Piercefield Apartments, Teal Lake, Sterling Creek, Cypress Point and Brisbon Hall.
•Wednesday, April 18: Large item trash pickup in Melrose, Richmond Hill Plantation, Turtle Hill, Magnolia Manor, Port Drive, Sterling Woods, Ashton Apartments and Main Street.
•Pickup is for current Richmond Hill water account users in residential zoning areas only.
• Curbside pickup will include appliances, furniture and other bulky items not normally picked up by regular trash service. City residents should place items on curb at 7 a.m. of scheduled pickup day.
• The following items won't be collected: tires, hazardous waste items, paint, refrigerators, oil or oil based products, grease products, batteries, gas or gas-based products, lawmowers, freon or freon-based products.
• Yardwaste products normally scheduled for pickup on Tuesday that week will be picked up Thursday. Yard waste products scheduled for Thursday pickup will be picked up on Friday, that week only. For more information, call 756-3641.
