Richmond Hill police early Sunday morning captured a suspect wanted in Pennsylvania after finding him in a parked vehicle outside a local business.

Patrol officers questioned the man, who at first gave them a false name and said he could not remember his date of birth. The man tried to escape on foot and fought with officers before being subdued, police said. After obtaining his wallet and identification, police discovered warrants for his arrest in connection with the bank robbery. Police said they also found weapons and ammunition in his vehicle.

The man was lodged in the Bryan County Jail to await extradition to Pennsylvania.
