Qualifying now under way

Qualifying for various local offices is under way today through noon Friday.

Seats up for grabs include Bryan County Board of Commissioners chairman and Districts 1 and 3; Bryan County Board of Education vice chairman and Districts 2 and 3; sheriff; probate judge; tax commissioner; coroner; clerk of superior court; state court judge; and state court solicitor.

Those qualifying as a Republican can do so at Room 217 in the County Administrative Complex in Richmond Hill. Those qualifying as a Democrat can do so with the Bryan County Probate Court office in the Bryan County Courthouse in Pembroke or in the County Administrative Complex in Richmond Hill.
