Sapelo Island ferry users and other interested citizens are invited to review a proposed amendment to the Sapelo Island Access and Transportation Rule concerning ferry fee rates. According to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Wildlife Resources Division, comments related to the amendment may be submitted through Jan. 7.

The ferry-rate changes are proposed to help mitigate increased operational costs.
