Pembroke has named Dustin Peebles and Johnny Williams as its finalists for the vacant city administrator position.

Peebles is currently a regional planner with the Heart of Altamaha Regional Commission and Williams was formerly city manager of Grantville, according to Pembroke City Clerk Betty Hill.

The city council will hold a called meeting at Pembroke City Hall on Monday at 2 p.m. to go into executive session to conduct interviews, Hill said, and the council may appoint its choice at its April 13 council meeting.

Pembroke has been without an administrator since the city asked former administrator Frank Etheridge to resign in 2011.
