A North Bryan congregation that is more than 100 years old is turning its focus toward youth with a new construction project. Pembroke Christian Church recently broke ground for a new social hall that will primarily be used for its expanding youth programs. “We’ve seen a growth in the numbers of our youth program, and we recently hired a youth minister,” said Bill Bacon, the chairman of the church’s board of directors.
