Richmond Hill Pharmacy, in cooperation with South University School of Pharmacy, is welcoming Dr. Nathan Nelson to their team of pharmacists.

As a post-graduate resident, Nelson will be working with Richmond Hill Pharmacy to offer patient-centered services to patients in the Richmond Hill, Hinesville and Savannah area. 

"We are excited to have Dr. Nelson as a part of our team and look forward to improving our patient care. We believe that cooperating with our local schools of pharmacy will help move the profession of pharmacy forward and enhance the number of services we are able to offer to our patients," said Al Dixon, owner of Richmond Hill Pharmacy.

As part of his community pharmacy residency, Nelson will be offering diabetes education through the already accredited program that Richmond Hill Pharmacy has to offer. He will also work with local providers to offer medication therapy management to help patients dealing with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, as well as other chronic disease states.

Richmond Hill Pharmacy is part of the Coastal Family of Pharmacies, which also includes Medical Center Pharmacy located inside Memorial Health Center and Hinesville Pharmacy across from Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville.
