The city of Richmond Hill will sponsor an Independence Day celebration from 5-9:30 p.m. Saturday, July 5, in J F Gregory Park. Live music will be performed by The Tams, and food will be available.

There will be farmers market items, arts and crafts vendors and face painting. Fun Time will provide inflatable water slides and an obstacle course. There also will be fishing.  The city’s traditional fireworks display will start about 9 p.m.

Those attending are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs, as well as change of clothes for the kids.

Coolers are permitted, although no alcoholic beverages are allowed. There will be no charge for live music, water rides and fireworks. Parking will be available at J F Gregory Park area. For event and booth information, call 756-3345 or email cityofrichmondhill@ga.gov.
