Tuesday's afternoon downpour created problems for some motorists in the Main Street subdivision in Richmond Hill.
The heavy rains led to some flooding on Laurel Hill Circle, which caused a car to stall out in the roadway.
Luckily, with a little help from a police officer and some neighbors, the driver was able to push the car to slightly drier land.
With a 50 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms forecast for Wednesday and Thursday, it could be a few days before Bryan County dries out.
Motorists are urged to drive with caution and avoid flooded roadways.
