The Coastal GA Area Community Action Authority assisted eligible households with heating bills this winter.
Payments were made directly to the home energy supplier.
In Bryan County, 234 households applied and qualified for the Energy Assistance Program and $73,818 was spent in the community offsetting the high cost of heating bills.

The 2014 Energy Assistance Program is now officially closed.
