Jordan Fisher

Aside from country music star Jerrod Niemann and Adam Wakefield of “The Voice,” the 2016 Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival has announced that Jordan Fisher also will perform.

The 22-year-old Alabama native burst onto the scene in the January production of “Grease Live!” on Fox, which recently won four Emmy Awards.

He’s also known for hit songs this spring and summer such as “All About Us” and “All I Wanna Do” and was recently named iTunes artist of the week. A link to the former song’s video is at: http://bit.ly/2cov6xz.

Fisher will take the stage at 7 p.m. on Oct. 15 — one month from today — followed by Wakefield at 8 p.m. and Niemann at 9:30 p.m. Fireworks will close out the evening at 10:45 p.m.

“We think this is the strongest collective musical lineup we’ve ever had,” said Tim Proffitt, committee co-chair.

Big Al Mack of “The Kidd Kraddick Show,” heard locally on WAEV from 6-11 a.m., also will be making appearances Saturday evening, and the Bud Light DJs will be on hand Friday and Saturday.

The 18th annual GOSF runs Oct. 14-16 in J.F. Gregory Park. For the full slate of entertainment, as well as hours, prices and food, please see www.goseafoodfestival.com.
