County officials get sworn in to office

County officials elected during the November general election were sworn in recently to their new positions by Probate Judge Sam Davis.

Sheriff Clyde Smith, Tax Commissioner Carroll Ann Coleman and Coroner Bill Cox took their oaths of office Dec. 19 in the County Administrative Complex in Richmond Hill.
Additionally, Bryan County Clerk of Court Becky Crowe was sworn in Dec. 18 at the County Courthouse in Pembroke.

Commissioners-elect Noah Covington and Steve Myers will take their oath during the Bryan County Board of Commissioners’ regular monthly meeting Jan. 8 in Pembroke.
