City council meets Tuesday

The Richmond Hill City Council will hold its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.

The council is set to discuss the following items:

·                  A request from Seacoast Development to rezone 8805 Ford Ave. from R-1, residential, to C-3, general commercial.

·                  A request from Poppell Farms for roadside sales of Christmas trees at the corner of Carter Street and Ford Avenue and 2658 Hwy. 17.

·                  A resolution supporting a Department of Natural Resources trail grant application for improvements to J.F. Gregory Park and Boles Park.

·                  A request from Mark Gjekaj for on-premises sales and consumption of beer, wine and liquor permit at Fia Rua Irish Pub at 10132 Ford Ave., Unit B-7, formerly Ways Station Tavern.

·                  Ordinance amendment regarding hunting.

·                  Contract renewal for CH2MHill OMI, the company that manages the city’s wastewater services.
