The Richmond Hill City Council meeting scheduled for 7:30 p.m. tonight has been postponed until 7:30 p.m. May 22.
The move is to ensure that the council will have a quorum present. The city’s charter states that three of the four council members must be present in order to conduct a meeting, whether or not the mayor is present. The April 17 meeting was cancelled due to a lack of a quorum.
The city’s Public Facilities Authority will meet at 7 p.m. May 22 before the city council meeting.
