Bryan County Public Schools received a check for $5,000 from Parker’s on Tuesday as part of the company’s Fueling the Community program, according to a news release.

“We’re delighted to support Bryan County teachers and students through our Fueling the Community program,” said Jeff Bush, director of fuel management for Parker’s, in the release. “We believe in the power of education and want to make a positive impact right here in Bryan County.”

Parker’s donates a portion of the proceeds from every gallon of gas purchased at all 40 of its convenience stores on the first Wednesday of each month to community schools through the program.
