The Bryan County High School JROTC Raiders attended a meet at Metter High School Saturday, with the girls’ team capturing first place and the boys’ team finishing third.

Events included a rope bridge, sand bags, obstacle course and a two-mile run. Team captains are Hailey Hendrix and Ethan Colello. The students were accompanied by JROTC instructors LTC Michael Hampton and SFC Lorenza Ross. Assistant Principal Donnie Sikes also attended the event.

The girls’ team consists of Hendrix, Hailey Williams, Megan Messex, Sarah Moyer, Kizzie Styles, Tara Roop, Takerriya Davis, Calista Cox, Victoria Miller and Jessica Hammond.

The boys’ team includes Colello, Rafe Hearn, Eddy Nieves, Zackary Li-Shen, Dave Cannon, Makhai Hunt (co-commander), Hunter McIntyre, Colten Brown, Ayden Levy, Charles Levy, Miguel Escamilla, Patrick Von Waldner, Chace Fornal, Alan Gilks, Dale Wilson, Marlon Paz and Jonathan Peacock.
