Board OKs investigation into claims against King America

Bryan County commissioners Tuesday voted to authorize a Savannah law firm to look into whether residents have claims against King America Finishing as a result of the largest recorded fish kill in Ogeechee River history.
Commission Chairman Jimmy Burnsed said the board voted in favor of bringing in the firm “because we have citizens who have requested looking into any potential claims along the Ogeechee. It’s not a full-fledged lawsuit. It’s just to investigate whether there are any legitimate claims.”
