The Richmond Hill Garden Club’s April Yard of the Month goes to Mike and Cheryl Frazier. Their yard is a beautiful oasis located next to busy Harris Trail in Main Street. 

The small front yard belies what is to come around back, where a woodland buffer hides traffic and a beautiful fountain drowns out noise. The yard includes a multitude of plants, including day lollies, fruit trees, clematis, boxwood, crepe myrtle, Japanese maple, lorapetalum, ferns, cast irons and palms. Several seating areas encourage visitors to “stop and smell the roses.”
