All lanes of Interstate 95 at exit 87 in Richmond Hill now open to traffic, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced Saturday afternoon.

However, a lane is closed on northbound Highway 17 at the I-95 overpass for support structures.

A quick-response project will be put in place for beam repair. Motorists traveling northbound on Highway 17 should expect delays at the interchange. DOT asks motorists to consider using an alternate route.

The repairs became necessary after a tractor-trailer became wedged under the I-95 overpass on Highway 17 on Thursday morning.
