Lane closure on I-95 Wednesday night

Repair of a lane of I-95 between Midway and Riceboro Wednesday night could slow south-bound traffic.
The Georgia DOT reported Tuesday that a contractor will have one of three south-bound lanes closed from 7 p.m. Wedneday-7 a.m. Thursday. It will not affect northbound traffic.
The work will be between mileposts 70 (six miles south of the Midway exit) and 68.
Since it is a work zone and could cause some traffic back-ups, the GDOT advises motorists to use caution, show down and follow directions. Message signs, barrels and cones will be up to alert the public of the upcoming changes.
