Hilliard stumps at exchange
Floyd-Exch-Club

The time is drawing near for the Richmond Hill city election. Signs are popping up all over town, and candidates are beginning to go door to door to drum up some votes.

Mayoral candidate Floyd Hilliard stopped by the Richmond Hill Exchange Club’s meeting on Wednesday to discuss his platform and answer questions.

Hilliard, who is currently Mayor Pro-tem and holds the Post 2 council seat, will face off against former councilman Harold Fowler on Nov. 3.

Fowler will address the Exchange Club on Sept. 23.

The winner will succeed Mayor Richard Davis, who has decided to step down after holding the position for more than two decades.
