The Marne Community and Spouses’ Club is accepting applications for its 2020 academic scholarships and welfare grants.

Scholarship applications must be postmarked to P.O. Box 3119, Ft. Stewart, GA 31315 by Feb. 15. Grant applications are due by March 2.

The club raises thousands of dollars each year to fund scholarships for military dependents and grants for local organizations.

Tickets for the annual Beaches & Baskets Auction go on sale on Feb. 1 at marnecommunityandspousesclub.com. The $25 tickets include dinner, live music and the chance to bid at a silent and live auction.

“We depend on the generosity of the greater Marne community to provide scholarships to our military families and grants to local organizations,” said MCSC President Stephanie Tucker. “We hope many of our supporters will come out for a fun night of delicious food, dancing and friendly competition.”

Spouses or children of service members stationed at Fort Stewart or Hunter Army Airfield may apply for the merit-based scholarships. Community groups seving Fort Stewart, Hunter Army Airfield and the surrounding area may apply for grants.
