Governor deputizes sheriffs to enforce COVID-19 measures

Hours before Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp's statewide "shelter in place" order is set to take effect, he's deputized the state's sheriffs "for enforcement of Executive Order o4.02.20.01 involving businesses, establishments, for-profit and non-profit corporations, and organizations," according to a press release sent Friday afternoon.
