Fort Stewart officials will conduct a barrier exercise at an installation access point Thursday, the post's public affairs office said Monday.

Inbound traffic will be blocked from approximately 9:30 a.m. until the exercise is complete at Fort Stewart's Gate 3. Gate 3 is at the intersection of Stewart Road No. 47/Old Sunbury Road and Harmon Avenue.

The training is to ensure Fort Stewart's security and readiness for situations that would warrant installation access be blocked, PAO said.
