It's an annual tradition since 1988.  Living history programs include soldiers performing their evening duties and civilian life during the Civil War.  Tours include stops at the blacksmith’s shop, hot shot furnace, hospital, powder magazine, barracks, jail and more.  Visitors will enjoy refreshments and music by the Minick Family and get to see an exclusive nighttime cannon firing.

Tours are 30 minutes each. The first tour will begin at 6:45 pm and the last tour will begin at 9:45 pm.

Tour times selected at the time of registration (pre-registration required). The fee is $15 per person (ages 2 and under are free). Pre-registration begins October 1st and is required for this event by calling the park office at 912.727.2339.  Guests are encouraged to leave their flashlights at home in favor of an authentic candlelight setting.  For more information contact www.gastateparks.org/fortmcallister
