Expect delays: Weekly construction, lane closure schedule

Georgia Department of Transportation continues to improve highway infrastructure throughout Southeast Georgia. As a result, work on construction and maintenance projects will continue this week.
 
All work subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, pay attention and watch for workers.
 
Lane closures are listed below by interstates and counties.
 
Interstate 95
Hwy 17/Richmond Hill to Hwy 17/South Newport --
Double lane closure to install permanent striping tape on bridges,  Monday through Sunday 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
 
Belfast Keller Rd. Interchange --
Double lane closure for bridge demolition,  Monday through Sunday 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
 
Interstate 16 
I-16 Candler/Emanuel Countyline to SR 67 in Bulloch County --
Single lane closure for striping of roadway, Monday through Sunday 7 a..m. to 7 p.m.

Bryan County
SR 144-Widening Project --               
Rabbit Hill road closure detour via Rabbit Hill Rd. to Port Royal Road
 
Bulloch County
SR 67 Widening Project --
Road closure at SR 67 intersections for reconstruction. South Wynn Road closure rescheduled from Jan. 27 – Feb. 1. Traffic detoured via Rushing Rd., Burkhalter Rd. Roads will be open to traffic once work is complete
 
Chatham County
SR 25 Conn/West Bay Street -- 
Continuous traffic shift on westbound outside lane
 
US 17 Blossom Rd. to Red Gate Farm Rd. --
Single lane closure to do underground and aerial work, Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
 
US 80 4th St. to Coach Joe Turner St. --
Single lane closure to do underground and aerial work,  Monday through Friday 9 a.m to 3 p.m.
 
US 80 Evergreen Ave. to Wallin St. --

Single lane closure to do underground and aerial work. Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
