EMA Town Hall set for May 14

Bryan County EMA (Emergency Management Agency) will host its first-ever town hall open to all residents on Wednesday, May 14th at the Devaul Henderson Gym, Richmond Hill, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The purpose of the town hall will be to discuss and explain how the county is preparing for this year’s upcoming hurricane season (including response and recovery efforts) as well as to answer related questions from the public about the agency. 

Bryan County EMA is a seperate agency from Bryan County EMS (Emergency Services), despite both functioning under the Fire Department Newly appointed Bryan County EMA director Alli Padgett will be in attendance at the town hall.

According to Bryan County communications manager Nicholas Beard, the Bryan County EMA will also host a similar town hall in North Bryan; more details will be announced soon.
