Early voting for Richmond Hill City Council Post 2 will begin on November 24 and will last through November 26 at the Timber Trail Recreation Gym, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Election Day is December 2 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The City of Richmond Hill’s charter states that a winning candidate must receive at least 50% of the vote plus one to win an election. Since no candidate reached that majority in the Post 2 election, a runoff election is now required.

The candidates are Kevin Bowes and Buck Holly.
